Industrial design is a wide field with much to explore, it works closely with other sectors such as engineering, architecture, interior design, technology, product manufacturing, among others.
It is an area that is in constant evolution and transformation, supported by technological advances and the skill of the human being, is positioned in innovative scenarios, thus promoting an endless number of products that facilitate daily activities.
The products, processes and services created from industrial design generate a great impact on society and in order to face current problems or requirements, it must constantly experiment and improve its functionality.
Industrial design has made important advances, which, in turn, require optimization and multidisciplinary work. Achieving this requires extensive research, brainstorming and prototyping, manufacturing processes, and testing.
It is an area with a wide field to explore, especially those that require new approaches that can meet the needs of the human being in terms of technology, forms of transport, health, education, access, training, creativity and innovation.
In this sense, Miami Technology & Arts University, has the program of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design, whose objective is the training of professionals with the capacity to develop products, processes and productive systems that contribute directly to improving the quality of life within any community.
Students will acquire skills to collaborate and contribute within multidisciplinary work teams, continuously applying analysis and critical thinking to generate solutions to common and complex problems within this field.
Taking into account that each design has economic, technological and industrial production implications, the program contemplates not only theory and practice, but also specific market trends for the improvement of existing products.
