MASTER OF FINE ARTS

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The Master of Fine Arts provides training for the analytical and critical study of Fine Arts, considering a broad interdisciplinary environment, encompassing theoretical, practical and contributory considerations of museology, exhibitions, distribution and criticism of the arts. Upon completion of this program, graduates will be prepared to identify various areas of expertise within related Fine Arts fields from a critical and creative perspective. Graduates will be qualified to further develop their analytical skills for the interpretation of artistic expressions in academic, social and cultural settings.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

This program provides students with skills to enrich the interpretation of artistic practices in the context of different cultures, historical periods, and the socio-cultural needs of different countries or regions. Graduates will come out prepared to become experts and researchers in the general arts field applicable to their area of expertise, historical or geographic focus. The program is based on a virtual platform and a structured course program organized through asynchronous seminars and research workshops that provide students with constant follow-up and guidance throughout all courses taken. All courses are taught 100% in Spanish.
