BACHELOR IN INDUSTRIAL DESIGN

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

The objective of the Bachelor of Industrial Design is to train professionals capable of developing products, processes and production systems that directly contribute to improving the quality of life within any community.

Throughout the program, students will learn to collaborate and contribute within multidisciplinary work teams, continuously applying analysis and critical thinking to generate solutions to common and complex problems within the field of Industrial Design. The applied learning methodology provides graduates of this program with the knowledge, tools and skills necessary to be successful in the workplace.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

In this program, student participation is encouraged. The teachers teach the content of this, recognizing themselves as mediators and monitors of the learning process. Students will increase their abilities to observe, analyze and interpret the needs of products, processes and services at the local and global level of society. The knowledge acquired during the career will allow students to develop sustainable design solutions to current and relevant production needs, considering the technology and available resources.

Each design project has economic, technological and industrial production implications, for which the students will study not only the theory and practice of innovative design, but also the trends of specific markets for the improvement of existing products. Examining the environmental impact of new products, and coordinating the production process of new products in simulation, students will obtain the skills to plan, organize and manage companies and / or production systems. All courses are taught 100% in Spanish.
