Five reasons to study the Industrial Design program

Industrial Design is a broad discipline that implies different perspectives, integrating a large number of industries, as its name indicates, it is in charge of the design and creation of products, from its conception, production and commercialization. Its main objective is to improve and facilitate people's lives, dealing with the creation of useful, practical products that are compatible with today's lifestyle.

At the initiative of the International Council of Industrial Design Societies (ICSID), since 2007 every June 29 marks World Industrial Design Day, with the aim of promoting knowledge and updates concerning this field, as well as highlighting the contribution of professionals dedicated to this work. It is an area that generates a great impact on society, it has grown and evolved over time and with the help of technological advances, therefore, those interested in venturing into it require updated training in accordance with the current requirements.

In this context, among its undergraduate academic offerings, Miami Technology & Arts University has the program of Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design, focused on the training of professionals who can collaborate and contribute within multidisciplinary teams by continuously applying analysis and critical thinking to generate solutions to common and complex problems within this field.

The learning methodology applied through its subjects provides graduates of this program:

The program, which offers a North American degree, is taught 100% in Spanish and at a distance, by leading international teachers through an innovative learning platform.
