Graduation Ceremony of the first class of Masters in Business Administration and Education Sciences

Miami Technology & Arts University proudly presents its first group of graduates from the Masters of Business Administration and Educational Sciences. The Graduation Ceremony took place this Saturday, May 27 at The Sanctuary of the Arts.

The university authorities participated, Dr. Emma Paoli, general director, Ing. Eduardo Viedma, President, Lic. Pablo Zardini, executive director, Mg. Verónica Viedma, academic director, Dr. Monserrat Viedma, director of the Registry. In addition, special guests such as Dr. Justo Apodaca, Consul of Paraguay in Miami, Dr. José Cyrano Ruíz, Chancellor of the Da Vinci University of Guatemala, Eng. Martin Cardozo, President of the Paraguayan-American Chamber of Commerce, relatives and friends of the brand new graduates.

Previously, on Friday May 26, the graduates developed the presentation of their Final Projects, whose topics are detailed below:

Master of Education Science

  • Carmen Aquino, Application of significant curricular adjustments.
  • Jose Lopez Urizar, Promoting the habit of reading in fifth grade students of the Caserio Santa María mixed rural official school, Tablón village, Sololá.
  • Oscar Mairen Ordoñez, Pilot training plan for sports leaders of the national gymnastics sports federation of Guatemala.
  • Thiago Castro Longo, Analysis of the continuity of the results obtained in the literacy reinforcement project – case 2022.
  • Marvin Lopez Urizar, The integration of technology in the classroom: an analysis of the use of digital tools by ENPS teachers.
  • Karen Tello Monzon, The critical thinking of the student from the point of view of the teacher within the post-pandemic classrooms at a higher level.
  • Yoly Quiroa Maldonado, Analysis of the practices for the incorporation of artificial intelligence in the teachers of the Agronomic Engineering career at the Da Vinci University of Guatemala.

When speaking, Mr. Eduardo Viedma highlighted the day as a historic day and thanked the trust placed in the institution. "The idea of this university was born with a lot of effort and impetus, it seeks to change lives and provide opportunities to achieve the dream of the North American title," he added.

“Education is a constant challenge and this is a starting point, we believe that we will reach many more people. Yesterday we saw the presentations and they have all been very interesting, denoting the effort of each one. I have nothing left but words of gratitude, we are the ones who are grateful to you for being the first MTA graduates”, he asserted.

Next, Lic. Pablo Zardini, valued the perseverance and dedication of today's graduates, as well as that of the authorities who have worked and promoted the creation of the university. "Today this is a reality and allows us to show you an institution with little history and a great future, but with the passion and effort of all those who make it up," he added.

“Today you represent a larger group of graduates, a total of 40 people who have trusted MTA to give them a higher education. I want to recognize the courage and determination that they have shown when choosing online education, in a constantly changing world they have embraced technology as a powerful tool for their learning, they have shown that distance is not an obstacle to study and success” , he remarked.

For his part, Dr. José Cyrano Ruiz indicated that these acts are often called beginnings, however, as they are professionals, they become emblems of 21st century education. “You have found a way to continue improving and acquiring updated knowledge, I am sure that the learning has been enormous. The spirit of the MTA is to create opportunities for many people. We learned that these creations are made jointly, we feel very satisfied, we feel in a certain way that we share the success they are having, it excites us and motivates us”, he stressed.

Agustina López, Mirta Argyros and Marta Peralta from the Master of Business Administration, and Karen Tello Monzón, Carmen Aquino, Julia Rivas from the Master of Science in Education were distinguished as graduates with honors.

On behalf of the promotion, Agustina López, a graduate of the Master's in Business Administration, offered a few words, who thanked and appreciated the training received, recalling that they were 16 intense months in which each one had to face different challenges.

“Each one has shown an unwavering passion for learning, our camaraderie and collaboration have been essential for success, studying online alone is not the same as accompanied, today we celebrate not only individual successes but also the team spirit that has brought us to here. They have inspired us to go beyond our limits, we carry with us not only a title, but also a transformative experience and an extremely valuable network of contacts. Let's continue learning, growing, building mutual collaboration networks”, he pointed out.  

Similarly, Karen Tello Monzón, a graduate of the Master's in Education Sciences, addressed those present, recalling the contribution and role that both teachers and students have played in this stage.

“This university has given us the tools to grow personally and professionally, reinforcing the academic quality of all students. The opportunity that the university offered us was an impact to start and finish an academic dream as it has been to study the Master of Science in Education.

Finally, Dr. Emma Paoli, recalled the beginnings of this university project, which today, through its graduates, becomes a dream come true, reaffirming the commitment to continue building new spaces for higher education, and through them, more continuing education opportunities.

He highlighted the trust placed in such a young institution that today makes the long-awaited dream of the North American title come true. “We thank those who understood this dream and have accompanied us from the beginning, especially prominent universities that have opened their doors to us. We are touring and taking our ideas to other countries that seek that other students can also fulfill the dream of the North American degree”, he indicated.

Miami Technology & Arts University was born to provide answers to the current requirements of higher education, offering academic programs according to the professional demands of today's world. The graduation of the first promotion shows that the dream of the North American title is possible today. Congratulations to all!
